"Silom Village" The last village Thai tradition old style on Silom road. Within the compound are 15 teak houses and 3 buildings, owned by Mr. Cheaw chong Pre. These houses were constructed in the reign of King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) in 1908 and converted to restaurant and Thai handicraft shop in 1981. On 7 Sep 1984 Her Royal Highness Maha Chakri SirinThorn Graciously bestowed certificate for The Conservation of Historic Building Award on the occasion of fiftieth anniversary of The association of Siamese Architects under Royal patronage.
